Stuff My Triplets Say – Credit Cards

In celebration of our triplets turning eight today, I’d like to share a conversation that recently took place in our house.

Son: Mom, you used your credit card? So you didn’t have to pay?

Other son: You have to pay at the end of the month; otherwise, you pay double the next month. And if you don’t pay that, you go to jail.

Perhaps we’ve overstated the danger of using credit cards. Or we’re just good parents. It’s such a fine line.

Suzanne…I like it! I think I’ll roll with that in discussions with my kids.

    Merry Christmas!

Kevin, You made me laugh. Yes, you do go to jail. If you charge something and can’t afford to pay if off, in my house, you go to purchaser’s jail where you cannot buy anything again until you pay in full. Kind of sounds like Le Miserable…
